TIMMY THE TEETH
Raised in a musical family, Timothy George has been singing and playing music from an early age. Growing up, the home was filled with music from his sisters playing piano or his dad keeping rhythm with the butter knife in anticipation for his toast to pop out of the toaster.
JODY STAPLETON
Shawn Patrick Bracken, aka, Jody Stapleton, has transformed his songwriting craft to combine elements of southern folk, gospel and country into a harmony of modern sounds that cascade against a midwestern sunset.
On the circuit in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jody and his friends formed the raucous foursome, The Stapletons. The band released four albums, toured America and were voted Best New Artist in 2000 and Rock Band Of The Year in 2003 at the Cincinnati Entertainment Awards. Esquire Magazine came calling with some fine accolades (Esquire, Apr 2004) and shortly thereafter the quartet signed with Minneapolis based, Tinderbox Music and had their music played on over 200 radio stations across the country.
Jody enlisted the Generals to join him on 2012’s Turn On Your Lights that combined indie pop and folk notions. In 2014, Jody hooked up with longtime friend, folk artist and producer Jeff Scott Roberson and released Wolf Angel that showcased Stapleton’s heartfelt lyrics of loss and redemption. City Beat magazine writer Brian Baker wrote an endearing story on the new album and Jody was nominated for Singer/Songwriter of the year at the Cincinnati Entertainment Awards.
His latest longplayer, Roe Street Cathedral, combines singer/songwriter elements with folk and country tinged tunes to sway by the campfire. See you out there.
