“Everything is not meant to be understood,” says Flynt Flossy co-CEO of the musical phenomenon Turquoise Jeep. Like many other visionary artists, founders Flynt Flossy and Whatchyamacallit felt industry boundaries were stifling their creativity. This encouraged them to combine their own talents with other like-minded friends and create their own label/ genre of music, EMB (Existing Musical Beings). Turquoise Jeep Records is the definition of complete artistic freedom with no limitations. Their videos on you tube accumulated millions of views and began their international notoriety. Since then they have been impacting the lives of people all over the world through their songs, videos, live shows, clothing line, etc. “Turquoise Jeep is the art of expression, another world. And for those who want to be a part of that world, we welcome them with open arms.”
Flossy and Whatchyamacallit released the label's first song "Stretchy Pants" as a YouTube video on March 15, 2009. The label continued to make music videos and release them to YouTube, signing new artists and got widespread attention.
Turquoise Jeep toured repeatedly throughout 2011–2013, and continued to release new material. Flynt Flossy and Yung Humma also appeared on the track "Fuck Your Blog" by Childish Gambino.
On December 23, 2013, the group released their second album: Existing Musical Beings.
The group is currently tour to support the release of their latest effort, Eclectic Catapilla, released in 2017.
