Guitar driven farm-to-table alt-pop that reflects the realization of life gone askew and the beauty of being okay with it. "44" was recorded in the spring of 2014 with lo-fi urgency, here pop melodies meet Americana and 80's new wave in a raw, emotional mashup. Live, New Sincerity Works is Mike Tittel, Lauren Bray, Mike Landis, Bob Nyswonger, Roger Klug and Greg Tudor. Members have been a part of the following legendary outfits: Loud Family, Godholly, Cari Clara, The Bears, pyschodots and Roger Klug Power Trio.
WAKE THE BEAR
Born in the second bedroom of his Cincinnati home, Cunningham began recording as Wake the Bear in 2004. From aliens, chickens and surviving the 80s – to a dog, a god, and a good many drinks – the music wears its heart on its sleeve – without the cheese. Up-beat poppers. Low-key stoppers. Hopefully held together with stuck-in-your-head glue.
Wake the Bear's third album, Player Piano, is set for release on March 28, 2009. The album is entirely inspired by one of Kurt Vonnegut's first published novels, Player Piano.
