SARAH DUPEE

A native of Cincinnati, Sarah grew up in Ohio and has lived and worked in Charlottesville, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Morocco, and France. Following her immersion in French and Francophone studies, she settled in New Orleans and began working in bilingual education while moonlighting in the live music scene.

It was while living in New Orleans (2013-2017) that Sarah found the time, the space, and the community for songwriting that would ultimately give birth to Cypress Island, her debut EP recorded at The Monastery Studio in Cincinnati with producer/arranger/guitarist Ric Hordinski and a cast of some of Cincinnati’s finest musicians.

Sarah can now be found playing solo and in collaboration around Cincinnati and beyond.

MATT BAUMANN & JEREMY SMART

Matt Baumann began his music journey as a classical, jazz, and ambient saxophonist. Even while studying the likes of Albert Ayler and John Coltrane in high school in St. Louis, MO, and then in college at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, Matt was just as intrigued with the music of singer-songwriters. He was drawn to the truth, sincerity, emotion, and power evoked by the likes of Warren Zevon, Tom Waits, and Woody Guthrie. After having a dream in which he was playing banjo and singing his own songs, Matt quit playing saxophone (his instrument of the previous 20 years), bought a banjo, and embarked on a journey anew as WolfCryer.
