JULY FOR KINGS

JULY FOR KINGS w/ JACOB PEREZ

July For Kings, a melodic post-grunge outfit from Cincinnati, Ohio, has carved out a unique space in alternative rock through their powerful melodies and dynamic sound. Originally formed in the late '90s in Middletown, OH, the band rose from regional success to national recognition, touring with acts like Collective Soul, Counting Crows, and Muse. After their MCA Records era and several independent releases, including the chart-topping "Nostalgia" album, July For Kings has maintained a devoted following while evolving their sound and lineup.

Today, the band features founding member Travis "T" Miller (cello, guitar, vocals) alongside veterans Dan McQuinn (drums), John McGuire (guitar), and Brian Ives (bass), with frontman Joe Hedges at the helm. Their enduring impact on the Cincinnati music scene was recently celebrated with a sold-out 20th anniversary show at the Woodward Theater and recogrecognize nition in the Cincinnati Library's "Social Stairs" installation. Following a recent song placement on NFL Sunday Night Football's Bengals broadcast, the band has returned to the studio, collaborating between Cincinnati and the Pacific Northwest to create new material that honors their legacy while pushing their sound forward. Their latest single and music video, "24 Vibe," showcases the same passion and musical craftsmanship that has defined their decades-long journey.
