Bio:
Grief Counseling started originally as a musical solo project of David Howell (ex Short Cycle, ex Hemlock Branch, ex Vanity Creeps, ex White Walls, ex Siblings) launched in 2022 with an EP titled "When the Leach Bites," recorded at Todd Uttley's Fuzzy Eyed Studio.
In 2024, Grief Counseling became a live band w/ friends and mates from prior bands Robert Lopez (ex Siblings), Scott Simpson (Opium Doom Cult, ex Hemlock Branch, ex Beneath Oblivion), and Justin Stapleton (ex Short Cycle, ex Coelacanth). The band then took on a different sound, they can only describe as "bigger." Soon after they recorded a full-lenth record, again at Fuzzy Eyed Studio. Which should be mixed, mastered, and set for release some time in early 2025.
