The man at the helm for Uncommon Records is Uncommon Nasa, owner, producer, artist and chief spokesman for the flagship label of progressive hip hop.

As an emcee, Nasa is inspired by the words of the famed screenwriter & playwright, Rod Serling. Serling, in reply to a question about how he'd like to be remembered 100 years from now, replied saying simply as a "writer". Nasa's goal is to create songs that are well-written and expertly structured, usually focusing on defining moments in his life as well as current events around the world. While earlier work was released with his former group, The Presence, and as a solo artist under the name Adam Warlock, all current and future releases will be done so as Uncommon Nasa (the name thousands on social media have come to know him by). Ultimately, Uncommon Nasa’s music is a story of self.
