Cookin' Hearts started out as an acoustic duo between Joe Hart and Alex Cook'. Seeing that the times were changing, and lives were rearranging, a new sound was to emerge as the duo doubled with the addition of Abigail Westwood and Alix Reynolds. With an expanded instrumentation and a renewed focus on vocal harmony, the group has shifted into a promising and exciting new direction.

Jeff Beam is a multi-instrumentalist songwriter from Portland, Maine. He writes, performs, records, & releases melodic experimental pop music tinged with kaleidoscopic soundscapes, inspired by the likes of Olivia Tremor Control, Elliott Smith, Deerhunter, & Spoon. His recordings are a one-man odyssey; his live shows revolve around an energetic band of his good friends.

His lyrics contain observations on humanity, existence, perception, and the attempt to find inner peace amidst a tumultuous outer world. Musically, Beam seeks to fuse together unorthodox pop melody with psychedelic sound textures & colorful instrumentation. Later in 2015, he will release Is Believed To Have Been, the full-length studio album follow-up to 2012's Be Your Own Mirror.

Jeff Beam has opened for many national artists, including Deer Tick, Marco Benevento, Wintersleep, Jefferson Starship, and White Hinterland.
