About LIVE SKULL:
Formed in 1982, Live Skull is considered by many aficionados to be the quintessential New York noise band. Together with Sonic Youth and Swans, Live Skull defined the term "noise rock" in the 1980s, spearheading the post-No Wave underground music scene in NYC with a series of legendary live performances and eight groundbreaking records released over the course of that decade.
Trouser Press said, As part of the same New York avant-noisy scene that spawned Sonic Youth, Lydia Lunch, and Swans, Live Skull records come complete with creepy lyrics, circular melodies and nod-out drum beats designed to lull you into their macabre world.

The Fairmount Girls are better than you are. They are first-born. they win spelling-bees. They put their dishes in the dish-washer. They have trans-ams.
They opened for Jonathan Richman. This pop-punk, galactic gang, from Cincinnati has layered vocals, farfisa, upbeat ambrosia, a labyrinth of guitars and drums.
Fun fact: Marnie Greenholz - bassist for Live Skull in the 80s - was the Fairmount Girls’ first bass player and holds the esteemed title of FG003.
